Fading is the gradual loss of hair color due to natural wear and tear, it will happen as your clients own natural hair if it was colored .including:

Washing & Styling – Frequent washing, hot water, and heat tools speed up fading.

UV Exposure – Sunlight (or sunbeds) breaks down hair dye molecules.

2. How to Minimize Fading?

Limit Washing – Wash hair no more than 3 times per week.

Use Cooler Water – Hot water opens hair cuticles, releasing color.

Lower Heat Tools – High temperatures damage hair and fade color faster.

UV Protection – Wear a hat or tie hair up in direct sunlight.

Use Recommended Aftercare – Stick to sulfate-free, color-safe products .

Discoloration is a chemical reaction caused by:

Hard Water Minerals (e.g., iron, copper) bonding with hair dye.

Sunscreen & Other Products – Certain ingredients accelerate discoloration, especially around the face & neck.
